TBT UK Ltd have just installed and commissioned a new 4000mtr deep hole boring machine in its Birmingham sub contract facility. This is the second machine of its type to be installed here in Birmingham during the last 12 months and is the result of ever increasing demand for sub contract deep hole boring of components up to 4000mm in length

TBT UK Ltd’s UK sub contract division specializes in gun drilling and deep hole boring in non-magnetic P550 stainless steels, heat resistant nickel based alloys such as Inconel 625 and 718 (most commonly associated with components for the oil and gas industry) as well as the more regular low carbon alloys. This most recent addition now brings the total number of machine available at TBT UK to 10 with a further new TBT BW250 table type gun drilling machine due to arrive this summer. In order to keep up with demand and provide it’s customers old and new with the best possible service TBT UK runs a regular night shift and operates 7 days per week. TBT UK Ltd can now offer deep hole boring capacity from 30mm diameter bore up to 150mm diameter bore in cylindrical components up to 4000 in length and off centre and compound angle gun drilling/boring in block type components from 3.00mm diameter up to 80.00mm diameter up to 2500mm deep from one end in components up to 20 tons in weight
